Kubota Garden is a beautiful place to visit in Seattle, and tells some of the Japanese history of this region, which you can learn more about from its site. The garden is a historical landmark, now owned by the City of Seattle and hence, is completely free — a great way to enjoy the tax dollars we put towards our parks and preservation.
After much nagging on Mother’s Day, I was glad my mom picked this place to enjoy some of our beautiful weather that day. What you see here is from just a fraction of it. I think we still have most of the garden to see, and I can’t wait to revisit!
