Last week, I shot Seattle Art Museum’s March to the Center of the Earth parade for Seattle Weekly.
It was a great Community Night Out event featuring Nick Cave’s Soundsuits. Children and adults were very creative with their own hand-made costumes aka wearable art, and they marched on 1st avenue right during rush hour. As you can see, it was a much needed splash of color and sound that the city got on a grey evening. It was also one of the more memorable parades I got to shoot, and I wish every city could experience it. Thanks SAM!
