Kailua Farmers Market

loot from kailua farmers' market

On our recent trip to Oʻahu, Hawaii, one of the best things we did was to get a taste of their local farmers’ markets. We were a bit late to the Thursday Kailua Farmers Market, so it was like going to a night market.

I still can’t get over how many amazing food choices we had access to, but no kitchen to cook in! Some tasty highlights included mangoes (like India!) from Just Add Water, Ka’u coffee from Sea Mountain Coffee Company, fried green tomatoes and zucchini, fresh mango ginger ale, mango lavosh, and insanely delicious plate of nachos from Baja Style. We ate our dinner there and then bought all the fruits we wanted to eat. Then we went to a store and bought a knife, so we could eat local fruit all week 🙂
